Carved swinging bails and etched edged keyhole escutcheons in an antique brass finish add creative detailing to the classic silhouette of the case pieces. Fluted pilasters with lamb-tongue blocks are toped with heavy overhang tops and end in shaped block feet. Drawers are 14 " deep, providing extra deep storage space, and top drawers are felt lined to protect delicate items.
The poster bed redefines traditional shapes with combination swirling acanthus leaves and pineapple and lamb-turned carvings on the 86 " high turned posts. Both the poster and panels beds boost a broken pediment headboard with arched crown to match the landscape mirror. Decorative oversized raised panels are etched in the suite's signature Prima Vera borders. Available in queen and king sizes; both beds accommodate the two drawer under-bed storage unit use one or two to increase bedroom storage space. It's like having a four-drawer chest without using additional floor space! And, the units are specifically designed to be used with the three-drawer night stands with pull-out trays, with no interference in operation.
